The brief
A stranger lands on your site. In five seconds they should know what it is, who it’s for and what to do next. Build that page first, then the few pages around it.
Why this matters
Your website is the one asset every other channel points to. Your content, social posts and emails all send people here. If the front door doesn’t work, nothing else does.
Where to start
Collect references before you build. Find three sites you love and write one line about what you love in each. Give those to Claude with your brand file.
Build the homepage, ship it, and then run the five-second test on three real people. Show them the page for five seconds, hide it, and ask what it was. Their answers are your to-do list.
Examples beat adjectives. “Clean and modern” means nothing to Claude. A screenshot and a sentence about why you like it means a lot.
